Maui Crime Oct. 20-26: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 10 burglaries, 10 vehicle thefts and 5 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Oct. 20 to 26, 2019.

Burglaries were down -29% from the week before when 14 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle thefts remained the same; and vehicle break-ins were down -71% from the week before when 17 incidents were reported.

Below is a complete list of incidents and the time and locations of when and where each occurred.

10 Burglaries 

Haʻikū: 

  • Monday, Oct. 21, 2:12 p.m. 2600 Block of Haupoa Pl., Haʻikū. Residential, unlawful entry.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26, 6:25 p.m. 4400 Block of Une Pl., Haʻikū. Residential, unlawful entry.

Kahului: 

  • Friday, Oct. 25, 10:11 p.m. 100 Block of S Mokapu St., Kahului. Residential, forced entry.

Lahaina:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 23, 7:52 a.m. 200 Block of Wailau Pl., Lahaina. Residential, unlawful entry.
