Cyclists Invited to Lahaina Group Ride

Calling on all Maui cyclists–The Maui Bicycling League will be hosting a group ride along the islandʻs scenic western shore.

Participants can choose between a 10-mile and a 24-mile route, based on individual skill, experience, and comfort level.

The first option is an intermediate ride, with an average speed of 10 mph, that will begin in Lahaina and turn around at Honolua General Store.

Participants in the second ride option will cycle at speeds of 12 to 14 mph, and will begin in Lahaina, join the other group for a break at Honolua General Store, then turn around at Nakalele Blowhole.

Two trained leaders and a support vehicle will accompany riders.

Equipment will be available for rent from Boss Frogʻs or RideSmart Maui. Helmets are mandatory. Advanced booking is required for up to 30 people.

The ride will be held on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. and is expected to end around noon.
