Grand Opening Celebrations Friday and Saturday at Wailea Village

Grand opening celebrations are planned tonight and tomorrow at Wailea Village, where a host of locally-owned businesses, shops and eateries have recently secured leases to operate.

Opening celebrations are planned at several other shops over the next two days, between 5 and 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 16.

Tonight, the Sabado Art Gallery & Boutique celebrates its grand opening with a blessing at 5:30 p.m. and the unveiling of Maui artist Philip Sabado’s “Goddess Lea” painting at around 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Wailea Village is located at 100 Wailea Ike and parking is free.

Sabado Art Gallery & Boutique: Maui artist, Philip Sabado paints historically accurate art that depicts his love for the culture of Hawai’i – its history, nature, people and mythology. In addition to paintings, the Gallery will feature apparel and home furnishings inspired from the original Sabado Art.
