Maui Crime Jan. 5-Jan. 11: Burglaries, Break-ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 11 burglaries, 21 vehicle thefts and 8 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Jan. 5, 2019 to Jan. 11, 2020.

Burglaries were down 27 percent from the week before when 15 incidents were reported over a seven day period. Vehicle thefts increased 200 percent from the week before when 7 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were down 37 percent from the previous week, when 13 incidents were reported.
