Customer Service and Professional Tour Guide Certifications Offered on Maui

Registration is now open for classes on Customer Service in Hawaiʻi and Professional Tour Guide certification programs to Hawaiʻi’s tourism industry through the University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges’ Offices of Continuing Education.

The Certificate for Customer Service in Hawaiʻi and Certification for Hawaiʻi Professional Tour Guides training programs are designed for employees in the Hawaiʻi visitor and service-related industries. As a partner of this program, the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority encourages visitor industry professionals to take advantage of this opportunity in an effort to collectively strive to strengthen the visitor industry workforce and enhance the guest experience.

Course modules include:
Introduction to the Hawaiʻi Visitor Industry
Servicing the Global Customer
Hoʻokipa Me Ke Aloha – Hospitality with Aloha
Foundations of Hawaiʻi
Communicate with Impact: Talking

All programs are $500 for qualified employers in Hawaiʻi’s visitor industry.  Maui course offerings are posted below:
