Maui United Way Opens Grant Application to Nonprofits on Jan. 28

Maui United Way opens its new online Community Impact Grant Application on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 9 a.m.  Eligible health and human service non-profit agencies are invited to apply for the upcoming funding cycle starting on July 1, 2020.

Maui United Way’s President and CPO, Nicholas Winfrey said, “We are incredibly excited for the new direction we are headed being able to help our partners provide what is most needed in the community.”

MUW will also be extending its funding cycle from two years to three years. Programs based in Maui County and addressing a critical need in MUW’s impact areas of Education, Income, and Health are encouraged to apply.

The Request for Proposal and Criteria document, as well as a step by step Training Manual, is now available on the homepage of the MUW website by clicking on the “Grants” tab. The documents can also be obtained by contacting Makana Nunes at (808) 244-8787. Online applications will be available on January 28 and will close on March 4, 2020.
