Water Repair Work on L. Honoapi‘ilani Road in Honokōwai

The Maui Department of Water Supply is working on repairs in West Maui along the Lower Honoapiʻilani Road in Honokōwai. About 30 commercial and residential customers are affected by the break.
The work has resulted in a southbound lane closure of the Lower Honoapiʻilani Road from Honokōwai Beach Park to Nāhono Place.
Maui police issued a notification at around 8:55 a.m. saying crews estimate the closure will remain in effect for about eight hours.
Motorists can expect delays and are asked to proceed with caution.
