Sustained SE Winds of 35-50 mph at Haleakalā Summit

A wind advisory is in effect at the Summit of Haleakalā until 6 o’clock this evening.
The National Weather Service is forecasting SE winds of 35 to 50 mph with higher gusts at the location.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult. Motorists should use extra caution.
