Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Youth Internship Program Internship Program: Kū No Ka Pono o Haleakalā (“standing up for what is right for Haleakalā” in Hawaiian).

This professional development internship program began in 2011 to provide engaging and inspiring internships for middle school to college graduate level students. The internships will prepare students for future careers in the National Park Service and other conservation agencies.

This year’s program offers positions within various programs in Haleakalā National Park including Endangered Wildlife Management, Interpretation and Education, Visitor and Resource Protection, and Facilities Management.
