Kihei Charter School has postponed its annual Hawaiian lūʻau amid COVID-19 concerns. The lūʻau was originally scheduled for March 28 and is now tentatively scheduled for May 2.

“With the safety of our students, faculty, staff and entire community in mind, we have made the decision to postpone the March 28, 4th Annual Kihei Charter School Hawaiian Lūʻau,” a statement from the school read.

Proceeds from the annual luau support the athletic programs at the charter school.
