Join Hawaii's Most Hawaiian Hotel as our IT Support Specialist! The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to computer users relating to computer hardware and software, printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. Answers questions, troubleshoot, or resolve computer problems via telephone, electronically, or in-person.
A degree in computer science (or a related field) as well as having strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to all levels of management is a plus. This candidate should have the ability to train users with varying degrees of computer knowledge, have active listening skills, use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems, be detail oriented, have excellent follow through in completing tasks in a timely manner, etc.
Certification is a plus (e.G. CompTIA a+/Network +, Cisco CCNA). Minimum 3 years with computer and electronics. Hotel industry experience a plus.
