The Beach Sales Alaka'i (Agent) will greet guests with positive, friendly, and helpful attitude. The ideal candidate will utilize the telephone and computer reservation systems to arrange activities and tours along with sales of merchandise and rentals from Moanaku'inamoku while providing excellent guest service; ensure the safety of fellow employees and guests, and may be a first responder to emergency situations. This person will handle cash and credit card transactions, and politely ensure adherence to rules and safety guidelines. They will use strong observational skills to proactively identify and address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the hotel/resort or surrounding areas. Keep area clean, safe, and tidy. Provide and receive feedback positively.
High school diploma; some college a bonus. Cash handling, Al-Desk and Fare Harbor reservations systems experience a plus. Must possess a valid Hawai'i driver’s license.
