The Position:We're looking for a passionate Quality Manager to join our Hale Makua Kahului team. This position plays a vital role in our clinical operations, focusing on maintaining and improving the quality of patient care and ensuring compliance with regulations. QA Nurses review patient care standards, conduct audits, and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that nursing staff follow best practices and meet established guidelines Responsibilities include:
Conduct regular audits on patient care, chart reviews, and adherence to policies and standards.
Ensure that healthcare staff comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
Analyze patient outcomes and data to identify patterns or trends and recommend improvements.
Develop, implement, and review healthcare policies and procedures.
Educate nursing staff on best practices, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes.
Review patient complaints, adverse events, and incident reports to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, including two (2) years in quality review or nursing administration.
