Travel + Leisure announced it’s “World’s Best” Awards on Wednesday, July 6, naming the Montage Kapalua Bay as Hawai’i’s “Top Hotel.”

Maui topped Conde Nast Traveler Magazine’s Best Island in the US list for the 22nd consecutive year and received the highest score of any destination in the entire poll, the publication reports.

The Island of Maui was named the best island in the United States and the second best island in the world in TripAdvisor’s 2015 Travelers’ Choice Awards. The accolade comes after two Maui beaches were named to the publication’s list for best beaches in the US earlier this month.

With a score of 92.1, Maui topped all other island and city destinations named to the poll with the publication recognizing Maui as “tops in the world.”
