Evening budget meetings planned throughout the county in April
The Budget, Finance and Economic Development Committee will hold evening budget meetings in council residency areas April 1-16 to receive community input on the fiscal year 2025 budget, Council Vice Chair Yuki Lei K. Sugimura announced today.
Sugimura to host March 27 community meeting on potential water source agreement
Council Member Yuki Lei Sugimura will host a community meeting on Wednesday, March 27 at the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani from 6 to 8 p.m. The focus of the meeting will be on a potential water source development agreement between the County of Maui and Free Market Ventures, LLC.
Two opportunities to Talk Story with Council Member Yuki Lei Sugimura, Upcountry
Maui County Council Member Yuki Lei Sugimura will hold two talk story sessions Upcountry this week. The first session takes place tonight (Feb. 6) at the Kula Elementary School cafeteria from 6 to 7 p.m. Sugimura will also hold her monthly Talk Story with Yuki Lei outreach program, Feb. 10, at the Upcountry Farmers Market from 7 to 11 a.m.
