Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority welcomes new team members to Maui County
The Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority introduced its newest team members, including: Kui Adolpho, and Meagan Degaia, Destination Managers for Molokaʻi and Maui/Lānaʻi respectively.

The public is invited to attend the conference portion, “Regenerative Tourism: Innovations and Pathways for a Sustainable Future,” on Aug. 8 and 9.
263 bills signed into law by Gov. Josh Green
Governor Josh Green, M.D., has enacted 263 of the 274 bills passed during the 2023 legislative session. The bills include legislation on good governance, affordable housing, destination management at state parks, protections for victims of domestic violence, traffic safety, and cost of living.
Maui Mayor Makes Another Request to Ease Restrictions, Details are Forthcoming
Maui Mayor Michael Victorino has submitted another request to Governor David Ige to ease restrictions in the County of Maui Public Health Emergency Rules. Details are forthcoming. If approved, the effective date for changes would be Nov. 5, 2021.
