Community budget meetings planned on Molokaʻi, Hāna and Pāʻia

The next community budget meetings for Fiscal Year 2024 are set for: Molokaʻi at the Mitchell Pauʻole Community Center, on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, starting at 4 p.m.; Hāna at the Hāna Bay Pavilion, on Wednesday, Oct. 26, starting at 4 p.m.; and the Pāʻia Community Center on Thursday, Oct. 27, starting at 5:30 p.m.

US House Committee on Appropriations approves $27 billion for agriculture

The US House Committee on Appropriations has approved $27.2 billion for FY 2023 for agriculture, rural development and the Food & Drug Administration, including $1.7 billion for agriculture research.

The next community budget meeting for Fiscal Year 2023, hosted by Mayor Michael Victorino and his administration, will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Mayor Michael Victorino and his administration will host a series of community meetings in October to receive comments and suggestions from the public regarding the proposed budget for the Fiscal Year 2022-2023.
