The annual Green Party of Hawai’i State Convention will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m. via ZOOM. Opening will be Jim Albertini, from the “Malu ʻĀina, Center for Non-Violent Education & Action” as guest speaker, followed by the election of State party officers, delegates and alternates to the Green Party of the United States National Committee.

The Green Party Hawai’i announced that it will be on the ballot for the 2024 election. Green Party of Hawaiʻi’s first candidate to benefit from ballot access is Jackie Keefe, of Maui, who is running for State Senate seat in District 6.

In this weekʻs edition of Letters to the Editor, people write about supporting the Green Party, urging mask wearing, requesting the state to provide pre-testing partners in Canada and searching for information about strange lights over Maui — and Michigan.

The Green Party of Hawai’i endorsed state House candidates: Kealoha Pisciotta for District 3 on Hawai’i Island and Nick Nikhilananda for 13 on Maui.
