The Hawaiʻi Utility Bill Assistance Program established by Hawaiian Electric and Aloha United Way is closed to new applications due to high demand that led to nearly $2 million being committed to 2,700 households in two days.

Hawaiian Electric and Aloha United Way launched the “Hawai‘i Utility Bill Assistance Program,” a statewide program that aims to help Hawaiʻi residents who are financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and are struggling to pay their utility bills.
