Huelo, Maui Gets Fiber Broadband: Part of Hawaiian Telcom’s Rural Expansion

Broadband is now available in parts of Huelo on Maui as part of an expansion conducted by Hawaiian Telcom in thousands of rural communities throughout Hawaiʻi.

Warrant Served on Maui Property for Little Fire Ants

With the warrant, pest control personnel were able to survey the 1.75-acre Huelo property on Sept. 12 and found LFA infestations in potted plants and kalo patches.

Roadwork Planned from Huelo to Hāna Starting Sept. 21

The work is part of Phase 2A of the Hāna Highway Improvement Project and is slated to conclude in about six months on March 3, 2016.
