As the premier fundraising event for UHMC’s Culinary Arts Program, Noble Chef celebrates the college’s legacy and future while raising essential funds to support culinary education.

The University of Hawai‘i Maui College Culinary Arts Program and Fairmont Kea Lani present the 24th annual Noble Chef Gala on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024. The largest annual fundraiser showcasing and supporting the Maui College Culinary Arts Program at the University of Hawai‘i Maui College, the gala returns to Fairmont Kea Lani for an evening celebrating the college’s past, present and future.

Kō Restaurant at Fairmont Kea Lani is introducing Taste of Kō[racha], a one-night culinary event highlighting the innovative multicultural cuisine of Kō elevated with Kōracha, the venue’s new, locally crafted hot sauce created in collaboration with HiSpice. 

Reservations are now available for Fairmont Kea Lani’s upcoming dinner series, an evening exploring the history of Hawaiian-style cuisine featuring Lanai Tabura, host of Cooking Hawaiian Style, alongside the chefs of Kō & Kea Lani.

Tonight marks the second night of a two night collaboration with Kō’s Executive Chef Jonathan Pasion and Lanai Tabura at the Fairmont Kea Lani resort.

Tylun Pang, Fairmont Kea Lani’s Executive Chef, and Thomas Houston, Director of Food & Beverage, announces the homecoming of Jonathan Pasion, welcoming him back to Fairmont Kea Lani as Executive Chef for Kō.
