22 recruits graduate joining the ranks of the Maui Fire Department and state ARFF crew
A total of 22 firefighter recruits graduated from the Maui Fire Department’s 25-week training program as members of the 40th Recruit Class. The ceremony was held on Friday, Dec. 20, in Wailea.
27 Recruits Graduate into Maui Fire Department Ranks
Twenty-seven firefighter recruits graduated as part of the 35th Firefighter Recruit Class of the Maui Department of Fire & Public Safety.
16 Graduate from Maui Fire Department’s 32nd Recruit Class
Sixteen firefighters graduated from the Maui Fire Department’s 26-week recruit training program as part of the 32nd recruit class.
Firefighters to Conduct Live Fire Training in Puʻunēnē
The Maui Fire Department will be conducting a series of field burns in a wildland firefighting training exercise in Puʻunēnē today from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
28 Firefighters Graduate from Maui Fire Department’s 31st Recruit Class
The 31st Recruit Class was a made up of 14 firefighters that will now be joining the ranks of the State of Hawaiʻi, Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting division at the various airports throughout the state. The other 14 firefighter graduates will be assigned to Maui County fire stations.
30th Fire Recruit Class to Undergo Probationary Evaluation
Since their graduation in December, recruits were placed on rotational assignments with fire stations across the county for “real time” experience in the field. Upon successful completion of the evaluation, the recruits will be granted permanent full time firefighter status.
