The Rotary D5000 Maui Fires Relief Fund provided Roots Reborn with a $100,000 grant to support its Community Care Navigator Program serving migrant and immigrant communities affected by the 2023 Maui wildfires. 

Ama OluKai Foundation funds TNU grants for Sacred Hearts Lahaina teachers

This month, over a dozen Sacred Hearts School teachers each received $500 Teachers Need Us (TNU) grants sponsored by OluKai’s Ama OluKai Foundation to purchase basic supplies for their classrooms.

Mililani + Maui – United in Aloha: A Day of Lōkahi, Aug. 10 on Oʻahu

In partnership with Aloha United Way (AUW), Town Center of Mililani on Oʻahu hosts Mililani + Maui – United in Aloha: A Day of Lōkahi on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024. The community can gather to mark the one-year commemoration of the Aug. 8 wildfires on Maui, the deadliest natural disaster in Hawaiʻi’s history. The center aims to honor the memory of this solemn day and acknowledge the resilience and unity of those affected. The day’s lineup will include donation collections, community resources, keiki activities and cultural entertainment. 

Kōkua for Maui efforts are underway at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center

Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center on Maui alongside their operating manager, Pacific Retail Capital Partners, and the portfolio’s 21 retail properties across the nation, have come together to raise awareness and support for those affected by Maui’s wildfires.
