Mahi Pono Reaches Milestone of Planting 1 Millionth Tree in Less Than Three Years

Among the 1 million trees are a variety of citrus plants, including limes, lemons, tangelos, mandarins and grapefruit. There is also coffee, avocado, papaya, ‘ulu and several types of windbreak plants like panax, hau and milo. Milo was historically used in Hawai‘i as a drought and salt-tolerant windbreak plant.

Maui Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help with information on a stolen galvanized dump trailer valued at about $15,700 that was taken from Mahi Pono Farm lands on or around Sept. 18, 2021.

Mahi Pono Sets Aside Three Acres For Future Expansion of Maui Humane Society

Mahi Pono announced the company has executed a long-term lease agreement with the Maui Humane Society that will enable an expansion onto three additional acres.

Mahi Pono Donates Nearly 30,000 Pounds of Potatoes to Hawai‘i Foodbank

Nearly 30,000 pounds of potatoes were harvested from Mahi Pono’s test crop and and were taken to the Hawaiʻi Foodservice Alliance for distribution on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi.
