Maui Community Correctional Center work furlough inmate Gregory Anthony failed to return from work at his scheduled return time of 7 p.m. on Monday, April 29.
UPDATE: Missing Maui Work Furlough Inmate Arrested
37-year-old LeRoy Wright fled yesterday afternoon when a corrections officer with the MCCC went to his place of employment to check on him. Wright was serving time for first degree burglary and was tentatively approved for parole to begin on Oct. 14.
MCCC Pre-Trial Detainee Caught in Razor Wire in Attempted Escape
Pre-trial detainee Samson Hill tried to scale the 14-foot fence and was caught in the razor wire. Corrections officers pulled him down from the fence and quickly restrained him. The incident was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015
