Relocation of the Lahaina Bypass Southern Terminus Proposed

Plans call for the proposed relocation of the terminus from the current end point at Launiupoko, to the vicinity of the former Olowalu Landfill, further south.

Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa is hopeful that a significant portion of the long-discussed Pali-to-Puamana Parkway can be secured for the county. The approximate 200 acres of land starts near the landfill in Olowalu, and continues north to Puamana.
