Moananuiākea Voyage circumnavigation of the Pacific postponed to 2023

The Polynesian Voyaging Society announced that the Moananuiākea Voyage’s circumnavigation of the Pacific Ocean has been rescheduled to the spring of 2023 due to the continuing uncertainties caused by the global pandemic. 

Crew Awarded for Rescue of Polynesian Sailing Canoe

The crew of a motor boat was issued an award from the US Coast Guard on Tuesday for their help in the rescue of a traditional sailing canoe near Palau in March.
