Lahaina Filipino Town Hall scheduled for Aug. 19 to address post-wildfire recovery efforts
The event will provide an important platform for the Filipino community in Lahaina to voice their concerns, ask questions, and receive updates on wildfire recovery efforts following the devastating Aug. 8, 2023 fires.
Gov. Green names May Mizuno to House District 29
Governor Josh Green, M.D., appointed Joje May Mizuno to represent District 29 in the State House of Representatives (Kamehameha Heights, Kalihi Valley, and a portion of Kalihi). She succeeds her husband John Mizuno, who was appointed by Governor Green as the Coordinator on Homelessness in December.
