The Maui Department of Water Supply announces night operations in Kahului from Monday Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. to Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 5 a.m. The section of Puʻunēnē Ave. between East Kamehameha Ave. and the Maui Mall Village entrance will be closed while main line repairs are being conducted.

A water service outage has been reported at Kamaʻole Beach Park III and the Kīhei Boat Ramp. The Maui Department of Water Supply reports the outage will continue until 3:30 p.m. on June 7, due to a resurfacing project.

A portion of homes on West Kuiaha Rd. from Kaupakalua Road down through Haʻikū Road will have their water shut-off from approximately 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day.

Waiehu residents on Maui are being asked to conserve water today while Department of Water Supply personnel repair a water pump. Repairs are expected to be completed early this evening

The Maui Department of Water Supply will be closing Central Avenue between Nani Street and Vineyard Street in Wailuku from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for water line work. Traffic will be redirected to Kaniela Street by Water Department personnel.

A lane of Kokomo Road will be closed from Ala Olu Place to Haiku Road from 9 p.m. June 3 to 5 a.m. June 4, 2021. Following site preparation and excavation, water service will be out for five hours from midnight to 5 a.m. June 4 to make necessary repairs.

Water service will be shut-off for a portion of Makawao from approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12 to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 for water system upgrades.

The County of Maui Department of Water Supply will be conducting multiple valve replacements in Kahului beginning today, Dec. 7, 2020, and continuing to Dec. 23, 2020.  Water will be shut off periodically from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make the necessary repairs.

A portion of the properties along Lower Honoapiʻilani Highway and side streets listed below will have their water shut off from approximately 10 p.m. June 17 to 6 a.m. June 18.

A portion of homes in the Poli Poli and Middle Roads area of Kula will have their water shut-off from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, while crews work on the County of Maui water system.

This job is a continuation of the waterline repair job last week.  Only one lane will be open to traffic from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Repairs to the main waterline in the Kīpahulu District of Haleakalā will result in water fountain and restroom closures in Kīpahulu starting July 30.

Water customers in Honokōhau Valley are currently without water due to a waterline break. The break has been located and will be repaired next week.

Lower Honoapiʻilani Road in West Maui is partially closed due to an eight-inch waterline break.

A crew remains on-site and it is anticipated that road work will continue until approximately 3 p.m. today.

The Maui Department of Water Supply will be repairing a waterline on Honokalani Road in Hāna—the road that leads to Waiʻānapanapa State Park–on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, from 8 a.m. to approximately 12 p.m.

Water customers in Central and South Maui are advised of a scheduled interruption in water service for select areas of Puʻunēnē and Kīhei.

Repairs will be made to a leaking water tank that serves the Central and South Maui areas on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 14 and 15, 2016.

The service interruption is due to waterline repairs and will begin at 8 a.m., and may continue for up to six hours.

Water department officials say customers in the area may experience low water pressure and are asked to conserve water and avoid any unnecessary water use during this time.
