King Kekaulike, Seabury Boys Seeded No. 3 at State

The Maui Interscholastic League’s boys basketball champions in both Division I and Division II received No. 3 seeds in their respective Hawaiian Airlines State Championships brackets.

Unbeaten King Kekaulike (14-0) received a bye to the Division I quarterfinals and will play on Thursday at Moanalua Gym against the winner of today’s meeting between defending champion Punahou and Farrington.

Meanwhile, Seabury Hall (13-1) will meet University in the quarterfinals of the Division II tournament.

Baldwin (10-4), the MIL’s D-I runner-up this season, will play Kapolei today at 5 p.m. at McKinley Gym. The winner will meet top-seeded Maryknoll in the quarterfinal round.
