Suspect Wanted in Holdup at Waiehu Super Stop

The Maui Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a male suspect responsible for a robbery at gunpoint on Monday at the Waiehu Super Stop.

The incident was reported at 11:28 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014, at the business located at 270 Waiehu Beach Road on Maui.

According to police reports, the suspect brandished a handgun at the clerk, demanded money, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Authorities say the suspect was wearing black and blue plaid pajama pants with a San Diego Chargers logo on the front.

The individual is described as a male suspect, possibly in his 20s, standing 5’1″ to 5’3″, and weighing 130 pounds.
