Henry Kapono Featured at Wailea Leʻa

The Shops at Wailea hosts its Wailea Leʻa event, an evening under the Wailea stars, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, featuring free live entertainment by Grammy nominated singer and songwriter Henry Kapono.

Kapono is also an award winning Nā Hōkū Hanohano recipient, with past awards for Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year.

The event runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the fountain courtyard.

Shoppers will also have an opportunity to experience menu sampling from area eateries including Longhi’s, Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Lappert’s Ice Cream, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and Fustini’s Oils and Vinegars.

Special discounts will be also offered from participating merchants at the center during the event.

Also this month, The Shops at Wailea continues its Wailea on Wednesday “WOW” entertainment schedule on Sept. 24, with a live jazz performance by Nā Aliʻi Big Band with the Chop Suey Jazz Orchestra at the fountain courtyard from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
