BRIEF: Kīhei Waterline Work to Disrupt Traffic

The County of Maui Department of Water Supply announced that due to a waterline replacement project, Halekūʻai Street in Kīhei is restricted to one-lane traffic only, from South Kīhei Road to Kio Loop.
Department officials say traffic on South Kīhei Road is not affected and water service to the area should not be impacted.
The project is expected to be completed at approximately 3 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 24, 2014.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area or use an alternate route such as East Līpoa Street for the duration.
