The event features pūpū, films, hula and mele, along with a panel discussion with Keanu Sai, Walter Ritte and Keoni Agard. The event is free and open to the public.

Events have been planned on each of the main Hawaiian Islands this month in accordance with Lā Hoʻi Hoʻi Ea, a celebration of the sovereignty of the Hawaiian Kingdom being returned on July 31,1843 by Sir Richard Thomas to King Kauikeaouli.

E Hoʻolokahi Ka Lāhui’s goal is to educate, organize and support the latest efforts for Hawaiian unity happening at the international level amid discussion over national initiatives. The Kingdom of Hawaiʻi has been recognized by the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and offered a chance to participate in an International Commission of Inquiry.
