Subaru ‘Shares the Love’ with Maui Nonprofits
Subaru Hawai‘i’s “Share the Love” campaign will hold a check presentation for its Maui nonprofit partners—Maui Humane Society and Hawaii Wildlife Fund—on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Servco Subaru Maui.
Maui Humane Society will receive a check for $10,000 and Hawaii Wildlife Fund will receive a check for $5,000.
Through Subaru Hawaii’s community-based “Share the Love” campaign, a total of six nonprofits throughout the state will each receive their checks during presentations at Hawai‘i’s Subaru dealers.
Subaru Hawaii donated $250 for each new 2015 or 2016 Subar uvehicle sold (up to $30,000) from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2015, to six local nonprofit organizations.
The public was encouraged to vote for their favorite participating nonprofit organization online throughout the campaign. The nonprofit with the most votes at the end of the campaign would win an additional $5,000. Maui Humane Society received the most votes of all participating partners, earning the nonprofit the additional $5,000.
Subaru Hawaii’s “Share the Love” campaign has donated more than $100,000 to local nonprofit organizations in the past five years.
Servco Subaru Maui is located at 445 Kele St. in Kahului.
