List of Closures and Cancellations For Maui County Due to Ana
The following are a list of closures and cancellations that were made in anticipation of the approach of potential for severe weather associated with Ana.
UPDATE: 5 a.m., 10/16/14, Ana Getting Closer, Hurricane by Friday
The current track takes the system 75 miles south and west of the Big Island of Hawaii on Friday Night and Saturday, passing Maui County on Saturday into Sunday, with impacts projected as early as Friday in the form of thunderstorms and heavy rain.
UPDATE: 11 p.m. 10/15/14, Ana Forecast Discussion
ANA has weakened slightly but the National Weather Service indicates even if intensification does not occur, impacts could still be quite severe.

In the best case scenario ANA goes well south and is nothing but a high surf event. The worst case scenario is landfall which could bring flooding rains, extreme winds, storm surge and coastal flooding.
