Staff from the Department of Land and Natural Resources’ Division of Forestry and Wildlife and the County of Hawaiʻi Department of Parks and Recreation have posted signs marking the nesting area.

Vandals cut wires to basketball court lights at Waiʻale, Waiehu Terrace parks

Lights at both the Waiʻale Park and Waiehu Terrace Park basketball courts are temporarily out of service. The outage is due to vandals severing light control box wiring.
