MAUI DEMOCRATS RE-ELECT HOLTER

The Maui County Democratic Party elected new officers at its convention held over the weekend.  Lance Holter returns as party chair.

Holter will be joined by newly elected Vice Chair Todd Craine, Treasurer Dorothy Binder, Corresponding secretary Inez Okamura, Recording Secretary Jody Yoshina, and vice chair of information technology Karen Chun.

About 150 Maui Democrats gathered fro the event featuring keynote speaker Congressman Neil Abercrombie.

During the event, Maui was recognized for achieving the greatest general election presidential vote percentage in the state with 76.3 % voting for Barrack Obama.
