Sidewalk Construction Planned on South Kihei Road

Pedestrians and motorists in South Maui are advised of construction work that will impact those traveling in the area. Work includes the construction of an ADA curb ramp near the Rainbow Mall and installation of a new 370 ft sidewalk in front of the Hale Kamaole Condominium on South Kihei Road.
Crews will alternate traffic during construction hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The $82, 508 contract was awarded to Maui Master Builders Inc. Work began on Monday, February 22, 2010 and is scheduled to be completed by May 18, 2010.
