Frampton to rock the MACC

Gorgeous in every way, ageless, and timeless.

Peter Frampton is without a doubt one of history’s all time most magnetic rockstars.

In a world where the radio is riddled with noise that passes for music, he stands alone as one of the greatest rock legends of all time. Looking back to his videos from the 70’s, you see Peter as a longhaired, smiling boy, enthusiastically pumping his head up and down, wailing on his guitar with the zest of a school boy.

Fast forward several decades, and you find him promoting his new album on talkshows like Jimmy Kimmel, rocking as hard as ever, still bobbing his head with that signature joy. He now hovers around the age of 60, wearing cropped white hair like a well-earned halo, still with that boyish grin, still with every ounce of charisma and charm that landed him on the top of the charts decades ago.

With classic hits like “Show me the Way” and “Baby I love your Way” Peter Frampton delivers his timeless music to audience members of all generations.

The founding member of the legendary supergroup, Humble Pie, Peter has been topping charts for decades. More importantly, he has been creating masterpieces of music for decades.

Currently halfway through the world tour for his new album, “Thank You Mister Churchill” (a tribute of gratitude for Churchill’s part in bringing Frampton’s father home from the war), Peter will be gracing the stage of the MACC’s Castle Theatre this Wednesday night at 7 PM.

His album “Frampton Comes Alive” is one of the best-selling albums of all time. He co-wrote the music for his newest record with Grammy award winning songwriter, Gordon Kennedy. Several of the songs were also written with his son, Julian, who joined him for part of his tour. The songs take a look at the social injustice that is rampant in today’s world. With songs from the heart, Peter draws attention to these tragedies and offers hope for the future.

A show not to be missed, it is a privilege for Maui to have Mr. Frampton walk our shores.
