The APEC 2011 Hawaii Host Committee expects nearly 20,000 attendees for the APEC 2011 Leaders’ Week, happening November 7-13 and has issued another call for Hawaii vendors to participate this week.

This time, the Committee is seeking to secure a list of qualified full-service catering production companies for off-premise locations and to provide services for reception(s) in junction with the APEC Leaders meeting; on an as-needed basis. Qualified catering companies would then be eligible to receive a Call for Bid when it becomes available later. Request for Proposals should be submitted by May 19 and qualified vendors will be notified on or around May 27.

A Request for Proposals was also issued by the Host Committee for a vendor to design and manufacture aloha attire uniforms for men and women who will be volunteering to support APEC Leaders Week activities.  Approximately 1000-1400 uniforms will be needed. The uniform RFP submission deadline is May 31. The contractor will be announced on or around June 8.
