The investigation continues into the death of a Louisiana man found Christmas Day at a Kahului Beach, with severe head wounds.
The discovery was made on the afternoon of December 25, 2011, along Amala Place between the Kahului Wastewater Treatment Plant and the kitesurfing beach west of Kanaha.
WAFB 9News out of Baton Rouge, LA reports that 57-year-old Willam Sublett was working on Maui while trying to earn his state nursing license.
His wife and several friends have reportedly told the news outlet that “the father of 11 was the most dedicated family man you could meet.”
There are no arrests or suspects named in the case at last report. Anyone with information is asked to call Maui police.
