The National Weather Service anticipates winds to be gusting at between 30 and 50 miles per hour.

Forecasters say the strong winds are from a low pressure system that is passing south of the state, bringing easterly winds through this afternoon and into tonight.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.  Motorists should use extra precautions while driving in the area.
