Maui Health System Hosts Bariatric Surgery Seminar

Dr. Art Chasen has been passionate about bariatric surgery for almost twenty years, completing over 700 bariatric surgeries with outstanding long-term results. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Maui Health System hosts a Bariatric Surgery Seminar tomorrow, Oct. 30, 2018 at The Dunes at Maui Lani. The seminar is free and open to the public.

Heavy pūpū will be served. The event provides an opportunity for Maui residents to hear about the services available to them for weight loss surgery on Maui.

Bariatric Surgeon, Dr. Art Chasen will explain the three different types of surgery and how they may be a fit for prospective patients. The seminar will also cover treatment options, comparative risks and advice for daily maintenance post-surgery.

He is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Chasen’s bariatric program offers comprehensive pre- and post-operative support in the areas of lifestyle, psychology and nutrition.
