QKC Hosts Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi Breakfast with Santa 2018
Queen Ka’ahumanu Center, through its QKC Cares initiative, hosts a Breakfast with Santa to benefit Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Center Court.
Each year, over a dozen Maui County children are newly diagnosed with critical illnesses and have their wish granted by Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi.
This inaugural Breakfast with Santa features fun keiki holiday activities, a sing-a-long, buffet breakfast, Da Maui Sleigh rides and keiki visits with Santa himself.
“We are so grateful to Queen Ka’ahumanu Center for their partnership in making wishes come true and for hosting this special holiday celebration,” said Janel Chandler, interim CEO and director of marketing and events at Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi. “Breakfast with Santa is a wonderful opportunity not only to honor our Maui wish keiki but also to continue to share our mission with the local community.”
Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.com and are $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under; limited seating is available so early ticket purchase is highly encouraged.
“We are so very excited to offer this special opportunity for keiki to visit with Santa and support Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi. This truly is the season of giving,” said Toni Rojas, Vice President of Business & Community Development. “Let’s come together and grant more wishes to the critically ill children of Maui County.”
