Traffic Advisory: Roadwork Near Kīhei Recycling Center

Kīhei Recycling Center will remain open during its normal business hours today, Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 despite paving work on Welakahao Road.
The road will be partially closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., but local traffic is still permitted to drop off recycling and/or redeem HI-5 bottles and cans at the center upon request. While the road may appear to be closed, residents may ask the police officer on duty to let them through the road closure.
The Kīhei Recycling Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located on the corner of Piʻilani Highway and Welakahao Road.
