Sponsors Sought for 97th Maui Fair
The Maui Fair returns for its 97th year, for four days of fun, Oct. 3-6, 2019.
Organizers are seeking sponsors for this year’s event.
With an attendance consistently nearing 100,000, the Maui Fair is the primary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and community organizations. It relies entirely on corporate or local business sponsorship, local donations and volunteers for support.
New sponsorship packages have been developed to provide value-added benefits for investment in Maui’s community, and are available to fit small to large budgets. “One of the most valuable benefits of sponsorship is the significant amount of publicity you receive, exposing you and your business as a true community supporter,” fair organizers said in a press release.
The Fair opens with the traditional parade (Maui’s largest) on Thursday, Oct. 3, and continues with rides, food, entertainment and more through the evening of Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019.
“The Maui Fair is the symbol of family tradition. It attracts locals and visitors alike to enjoy an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free family-oriented educational event that features an array of local food, first-rate entertainment, EK Fernandez Joy Zone, plus horticulture, orchid, livestock, homemaking, photo and art exhibits and competitions,” according to event organizers.
“Find unique and innovative products and services in the Maui Fair Products & Services tent, and visit the Events Arena for how-to demonstrations. Plus, don’t miss the return of the Maui Fair Street Party, happening Friday through Sunday at 5:30 p.m., and Pā Hale Hawaiʻi presented by Pūnana Leo o Maui.”
