Update: Water main break repaired in Makawao

County of Maui Department of Water Supply crews repaired a broken water main around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, restoring service in Makawao.

“Water customers may get air or sediment coming out of their water pipes, but they should leave the lines open until they flow with clear water, department officials advised,” county officials said in a press release update.
