A 59-year-old Colorado man was medevaced from DT Fleming Beach in Honokahua on Maui after being pulled from the water with a possible spinal injury.

The incident was reported at around 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019.

Fire officials say the man was observed going “over the falls” in the shore break.
