A new ballet about black holes, “Bending Light,” is coming to Lahaina.

The performance was created entirely by 4-year-old Henley Anthony. Anthony loves ballet and all things science, and over a few months, she has been able to put together this show.

Anthony wrote all of the dances, made the music, and is working on the costumes and set with her friends who are also dancing. 21 kids between the ages of 3 and 6 from all over Maui will perform in the show.

Tickets cost $4 online or $6 at the door.

All profits will be donated and used towards a science curriculum for homeschoolers and a scholarship for a new dancer at a local ballet studio.

The event will be held on April 4 at 4 p.m. at the Royal Lahaina Resort in the Ali’i Ballroom.
